This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones the website apina.com (the “Website”) uses and how they can be managed, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in the user's browser to remember information about their visit. This policy also applies to similar technologies, such as the browser's local and session storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which is what this Website uses.

3. What this Website uses

The Website does not install analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and does not share information about the user's browsing with third parties. It only uses the following first-party, necessary storage:

Technical (necessary)

Essential for the website to work and to remember the choices you make while browsing. They do not identify you and are not used for profiling.

apina_cookie_consentLocal storageFirst party · apina.comRemembers that you have seen this notice and, where applicable, your cookie preferences, so it is not shown on every visit.12 months
apina_introSession storageFirst party · apina.comRemembers that you have seen the intro animation so it is not repeated on every page.Session (deleted when the tab is closed)
apina_promoSession storageFirst party · apina.comRemembers that the condensers notice has already been shown so it is not repeated during the visit.Session (deleted when the tab is closed)

None of these items contains data that identifies the user or is used for profiling. As this is technical storage, necessary to provide the service requested and to remember the user's own browsing choices, it is exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.

4. Own resources and external links

The Website's fonts, images and videos are served from our own server, so the user's browser does not connect to third-party services when visiting it. The contact form does not install cookies; the data submitted is processed in accordance with the Privacy policy. By clicking the link to APINA's LinkedIn profile, the user leaves the Website and that platform's cookie policy applies.

5. How to manage or delete this storage

The user can consult this information and reopen the cookie panel at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or with the following button:

The user can also view, block or delete cookies and site data from their browser's privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or others). In that case the Website will continue to work, although the cookie notice and the intro animation may be shown again.

6. Changes to this policy

If analytics, advertising or third-party cookies are added in the future, APINA S.A. will update this policy and request the user's prior consent through the cookie notice —with options to accept, reject or configure them, presented at the same level— before installing them. That consent may be withdrawn at any time from the same panel.

7. Contact

For any questions about this policy, the user can write to info@apina.com. Information on the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights is available in the Privacy policy.
