APINA's shell-and-tube condensers are the heart of condensation in marine and industrial refrigeration installations. Designed and manufactured at our plant in Errenteria (Gipuzkoa) as approved pressure vessels, they condense with seawater or fresh water with maximum reliability, even in the most corrosive environments.
A bespoke, robust and certified solution, built to work for decades aboard a tuna vessel or in a process plant.



A shell-and-tube condenser is a shell & tube heat exchanger: the refrigerant condenses over a water-cooled tube bundle. At APINA we build it to measure —sizing the bundle, the water passes and the materials according to the refrigerant, the condensing temperature and the water aggressiveness of each installation— as an approved pressure vessel under ISO 9001. Horizontal construction with removable headers for easy cleaning and inspection.
