Process cooling · Brines · NH₃-water absorption · District cooling.
Beyond the sea, APINA designs bespoke refrigeration plants for industrial processes that need controlled temperature: chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, plastics and automotive. From 5 kW to several MW, combining screw or reciprocating compressors or absorption systems.
And a specialty almost no one offers: producing cooling from the heat your process already wastes.

We design the refrigeration plant to fit your process, not the other way round: capacities from 5 kW to several MW, with screw or reciprocating compressors or absorption systems, and natural refrigerants (NH₃, CO₂). Solutions for chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, plastics and automotive, where temperature stability is critical.
Our specialty: using heat that would otherwise be wasted —low-pressure steam, cogeneration gases, process heat— to generate cooling by NH₃-water absorption, with near-zero electricity consumption. Cogeneration + absorption = the highest overall COP and a radically lower energy bill. Also ideal for hot climates where air condensation is not viable (solutions proven in Saudi Arabia and Nicaragua).
Flooded plates up to 200 kW / 57 RT, with high resistance to corrosive environments and simple maintenance.
For industrial and urban complexes.
Replacement of obsolete refrigerants, stage linearisation and legalisation before classification societies.
In-house technology and data-based maintenance.

As in every APINA plant, the installation is delivered turnkey with switchboards, in-house PLC programming, SCADA supervision and secure remote management via web/VPN, with automatic alerts and reports.
