Developments mostly based on ammonia units, unique in their class in both design and reliability, that freeze the fish while meeting the strictest health standards.

Tuna ultra-freezing (ULT)
APINA equipped the vessels Alakrana, Izaro, Jai Alai and Euskadi Alai with an innovative automatic tuna ultra-freezing (ULT) system: two freezing tunnels at −70 °C and six preservation wells at −60 °C.
